Given the centrality of the tourism sector for the development of the country, we strongly believe that the tourism education system must guarantee the enhancement of professional skills in line with the evolution of the sector and consistent with the positioning of the national offer. Indeed, from an analysis of the context it emerged that the schools of the consortium are unprepared to provide transversal skills (specifically IT and linguistic) necessary to respond to the evolving needs of the tourism market and that there is, therefore, a discrepancy between the preparation of graduates and the labor market.
