Since October 2010 NIA is responsible for international mobility and training for young Italian and foreigners.
NIA offers the opportunity to participate in educational and recreational experiences in projects financed by the European Community. It is free experience, short or long term, of different nature and theme. Participants will held discussions with participants from across Europe, visit new places, do an internship in various areas of interest, follow a language course or training. There are unique opportunities to enrich the experiential and social growth towards a real European citizenship; active and multicultural.
The experience allows you to get an European certificate, a better knowledge of the host country and find new international friends. The EU funds and energy invested each year to fund youth mobility: cultural exchanges, Leonardo projects, EVS, training and workshops. The participant will be offered reimbursement for travel, accommodation, participation in the course or internship.
Few examples: Youth Exchanges involving boys and girls from different countries of Europe lasting 7-10 days, about diverse subjects – art and culture, environment, equal opportunities, combating racism and xenophobia, youth policy, sports, Media and Communication, European awareness and many others – through multifarious activities such as creative workshops and artistic, cultural and environmental pathways, in-depth workshops, discussions, entertainment, organization of time socializing and celebration, excursions. For these European exchanges is preferable (but not required) knowledge of English, age limits is 25-30 years.
During the days of the exchange, in addition to theme activities, there is also time devoted to the knowledge of members of other international groups, guided tours for the host city and its surroundings, visits to museums and cultural centers, games, street activities, sports, and learning the local culture through festivals and cultural evenings based concerts, karaoke, movies … Exchange projects are organized and managed by NIA, in collaboration with associations and local authorities.
In addition to youth exchanges, international youth mobility opportunities are many and range from EVS, Workshops, Trainings, Seminars to Training Courses.
